Spring Scavenger Hunt / Pub Crawl

PintMeisters is hosting a Scavenger Hunt / Pub Crawl in Hoboken on Saturday, April 23. The event will be informal like previous crawls but this one will require teams and good, fun competition. A list of bars will be provided along with items and point values. Each bar will have drink specials that our members will be able to take advantage of.

Teams will have a list of tasks to be completed. Most of the tasks will involve the bars we'll visit during the crawl, while other tasks will require teams to stray off course and get a little creative/adventurous. Point values will be assigned based on the difficulty of each task. At the end of the crawl the points will be tallied and the winning team will receive a cash prize.

Teams will nominate a captain, come up with a team name and decide on a team color to wear. Please have your captain create the team and members will then be able to sign up for that particular team. There is no limit to the number of team members you can have, however we recommend keeping team size to 4-8 members, since teams will split the winnings. Anyone who would like to participate that doesn't have a team let us know and we will find a team for you.

The hunt will start at 3pm at the Pourhouse. We recommend getting there at 2pm to pick up the bar schedule & list of tasks and begin to strategize with your teammates. All rules and regulations will be covered with team captains at the start. Once the hunt begins anything goes. Other than a couple minor rules, you are on your own as far as how you go about the hunt. No tasks are mandatory and some are easier than others. All teams will finish and meet at McCarthy’s at 7pm to hand in their completed tasks. We will then tally the points and a winner will be determined. While awaiting the results, you can enjoy drink specials and free pizza.
